About this year's Tour:
The 2019 Jewels of Highlands Home Tour will feature 5 spectacular homes in the Sloan's Lake and Historic Witter-Cofield Neighborhoods of Northwest Denver as well as Lake Middle School, designed by Highlands natives Merrill and Burnham Hoyt in 1926.
100% of the proceeds from the Jewels of Highlands Home Tour benefit Skinner and Lake Middle Schools; Northwest Denver's traditional, neighborhood Public Schools, serving students since 1922.
The tour wouldn’t be possible without the Presenting Sponsor - Nostalgic Homes. Jenny and Angelica Apel of Nostalgic Homes are extremely active partners in the planning of the tour and Nostalgic Homes covers 100% of the costs of the tour, a remarkable contribution to our school and our community!
A proudly diverse community of learners, Skinner staff and students are engaged in a single-minded pursuit of high academic achievement for all, utilizing cooperation and collaboration as key strategies toward reaching that end. Our spotlight on the ‘whole child’ is evident as we offer not only superior Math and Literacy instruction, but enrichment courses, activities and community-building through our unique Learning Families.
Since 1985, the experienced agents of Nostalgic Homes have been assisting buyers and sellers with some of Denver's most distinctive homes. Whether it's unique, modern construction, architectural gems in Denver's Historic Districts, or sleek condominiums in LoDo, the properties that have put Nostalgic Homes on the map rank among some of the most sought-after among today's buyers.
If you're looking to buy or sell a Tudor mansion on East 17th Avenue Parkway in Denver's popular Park Hill neighborhood, a modern masterpiece in Cherry Creek North, or a sturdy Craftsman bungalow in Potter Highlands Historic District, the men and women of Nostalgic Homes know these homes--and they know their neighborhoods.
Since the moment Nostalgic Homes was founded, its agents have been privileged to witness the renaissance of Denver's most vital older neighborhoods.
